Levi Schechtmann

Who is Levi?

AB.OUT

Levi Schechtmann is a German pianist, composer and producer redefining what a piano concert can be. Classically trained from the age of seven, he has developed a sound entirely his own — merging the virtuosity and emotional depth of composers such as Bach, Chopin and Rachmaninoff with the pulse of hip-hop, house, electronic music, jazz and Latin rhythms.

What began as experiments at the piano has grown into a global audience. Performing and releasing music under the name LEVI.SCT, he has built a community of more than three million followers across social media, with performances reaching millions of viewers around the world. His reinterpretations turn familiar classical works into something immediate and contemporary, while his original compositions move freely between concert hall, club culture and cinematic sound.

In 2026, LEVI.SCT launched his first world tour, following sold-out performances in Paris at La Cigale and two nights at London’s Union Chapel. The tour has since taken his music across Europe and beyond, with performances and dates stretching from Helsinki, Copenhagen, Prague, Barcelona and Madrid to Los Angeles, New York, Istanbul and many more.

His stage career has also brought him to renowned venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Berlin Philharmonie and Flagey Brussels. In 2025, he was named Contemporary Pianist of the Year at the Pianote Awards.

Alongside his live career, LEVI.SCT writes, produces and releases his own music. His albums “BACH TO THE FUTURE” and “Classified Fusion” capture the idea at the heart of his work: classical music is not something preserved in the past — it can evolve, collide with the present and speak to an entirely new generation. Classified Fusion brings together influences ranging from Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Albéniz to hip-hop, house, jazz and salsa.

For LEVI.SCT, there are no boundaries between classical and contemporary — only music.
