Levi Schechtmann is a German pianist, composer and producer redefining what a piano concert can be. Classically trained from the age of seven, he has developed a sound entirely his own — merging the virtuosity and emotional depth of composers such as Bach, Chopin and Rachmaninoff with the pulse of hip-hop, house, electronic music, jazz and Latin rhythms
A New Dimension
Where Boundaries Break, Connection Begins.
Reimagining classical music. Bringing it into new spaces.
Connecting worlds. Connecting People.
Levi Schechtmann's new album, Classified Fusion, is out now — a trap-and-beat-driven set that continues the fusion between classical piano technique and contemporary production heard throughout his live shows. Recorded over the past year between Hamburg and Berlin, it moves from reworked repertoire into original writing without treating either as the guest.
Baroque counterpoint against contemporary beat production — fifteen tracks.
